Representative in the United Kingdom (Art. 27 UK GDPR)

In accordance with Article 27 of the UK GDPR, Contenfo LLC is in the process of appointing a representative in the United Kingdom. Their contact details will be published in this section as soon as the appointment is formalized. In the meantime, users resident in the United Kingdom may contact privacy@areacacao.com and, if they wish, lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

The website areacacao.com is owned by Contenfo LLC and is used to present and market the SaaS service known as AreaCacao, a professional tool aimed at chocolatiers and chocolate workshops for technical formulation, formula validation, cost control and the generation of professional documentation.

3. Conditions of use

Access to and use of this website confers on the visitor the status of user and entails full acceptance of the conditions of this Legal Notice, as well as of the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.

4. Intellectual and industrial property

All the contents of the website (texts, images, logos, designs, source code, trademarks) are the property of Contenfo LLC or of third parties who have authorized their use. Their reproduction, distribution, communication to the public or transformation without the express written authorization of Contenfo LLC is prohibited, except for the exceptions provided for by law.

5. Exclusion of warranties and liability

Contenfo LLC shall not be liable, under any circumstances, for damages and losses of any nature that may be caused, by way of example, by:

9. Applicable law and jurisdiction

This Legal Notice sets out the information that Article 10 of the Spanish LSSI-CE and Article 13 of the GDPR require information society service providers to publish, and its content is governed by Spanish law. It does not modify the governing law or the jurisdiction agreed in the Terms of Service, which are the ones that govern the contractual relationship between the User and Contenfo LLC.

As a general rule, this Legal Notice is governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to the regulations applicable to Contenfo LLC in Wyoming, United States. For disputes arising from the relationship with consumers in Spain, the mandatory jurisdiction corresponding to the domicile of the consumer shall be respected where the applicable law so requires.

10. Amendments

Contenfo LLC reserves the right to amend this Legal Notice at any time, publishing the new versions on this same page with an indication of the date of last update.
